Mothers With Love

Do you sometimes feel like you are a SLAVE to your household and children more so than a mother? It's a harsh reality for some stay at home moms, but I come to encourage you TODAY!!  Being a mom in any form is... HARD!  Whether you are a working mom, stay at home mom, breastfeeding mom, bottle feeding mom, whatever! Today I want to talk to my SAHM's (stay at home moms) though. I want you to know that I hear you and I understand. I know first hand that motherhood is hard work , but li ke I always say.. ... "though it's hard work, it's the good work of the Lord!"  Please Don't Give Up!! I know it sometime feels as if the weight of the world is on your shoulders and like what you do day in and day out for your family doesn’t really matter to them or anyone at all. Often times we are mindful to show Christ to others as a witness outside of our homes, but what are we displaying at home to our children when no one else is watching? I've said it before and I will say it again... You as a parent are your child(s) greatest influence in the earth. They are watching you, following you and what are you showing them, is it Christ? As they follow you are you leading them to Jesus?  We have to live a life of holiness, just like Jesus. A life that exhibits the Love of Jesus. We have officially entered the fall season!! Fall is by far my most favorite season of all!! In the fall there are is beauty to behold EVERYWHERE!  I love the smells associated with fall, the colors of fall, the cool crisp air of fall, the styles of fall, the joy of people coming together for the seasons, I love it all!!  I realize however that during this season as the holidays approach, many people find themselves in state of depression and grief as they remember the lost of love ones and the times they once shared. I want to encourage you today that no matter what season of life you are in right now, God is faithful and true and he cares about YOU. I pose to you this question as the Lord did in Genesis 18:14.... Is there anything to hard for God???  When things seem impossible, we as believers have someone to stand on, someone to lean on and that's God and his word.
