7 Scriptures to Encourage the Weary Mom

Are you a weary mom? I've been a weary mom before myself. Moms can and do grow weary sometimes. Weary when your little ones don't sleep through the night.  Weary when the children don't obey. Weary when there are more tears and screaming cries than there is patience. Weary when your teenagers think they know EVERYTHING! Weary when the dishes are piling and the dinner still needs to be cooked ( the dinner no one wants to eat) Weary when you feel like you've lost the woman you once aspired to be. Just weary...

Yes, weariness stinks, and in the midst of those moments it feels like everyone else has everything all together, and everyone else’s baby sleeps through the night…and everyone else’s teen listens respectfully, and so on and so on...

Precious mom, I am here to tell you that 1) you are not alone, and 2) others are or have experienced your same struggles. Do not be deceived nor discouraged. Normal isn’t normally shared these days.

But, I want YOU precious mom to know that  you are right where our God has you for such a time as this.  He is weaving together a masterful tapestry in you  full of beauty.

Don’t let the feelings of self doubt and weariness be the place where you land and stay, but rather let  the Lord into the core of your heart and cry out for our him help you and pour into you his peace and glory.  Plant yourself firmly in the truth of Gods word and boldly declare  “I will get through this, because God has got this, and me!"

And then watch to see the mighty work He does in your life, your children and your family as a whole .  Wait in great expectation and confidence of Gods provision for His beloved children.
