We Don't Know- God Knows

We Don't Know - God Knows

We are living in a world right now that we have never lived in before. We are experiencing things we personally have never seen or experienced before. This is very difficult for many, including me! So much uncertainty all around us every single day. This is a time when literally all we can do is seek the Lord. The reality is this... WE DON'T KNOW.  We don't know why this disease has hit our land so tragically. We don't know why the Lord allowed it to be so. We don't know how long it will last. We don't know why our loved ones are no longer here with us. We don't know how to cope. We don't know how to help or heal the brokenhearted. We don't know if we should stay home or go out continuing to live our lives. Some are in a situation right now where they don't know if  their loved ones who are still here will even see the end of the year. We - don't - know.

It's hard as people to not know what's ahead all the time, especially when it's a matter of life and death in the midst of a pandemic. We must understand however that it's not our responsibility to always know  right away. It's our responsibility to trust in the one who always knows. To seek him for all things and have faith that things are yet working for the good. It may be nearly impossible to see that right now, but we must believe it. We must believe that God knows, God understands and he is always working for our good. If God allowed it, we have to believe that there is some kind of good that is going to come out of it.

Even in the midst of all things we don't know, all the uncertainty, there are a few things we DO know. We know that God is still God and that will never change. We know that He is infinite in wisdom and strength and that God is our strength in weakness. We know that we cannot lean or rely on our own understanding, but rather we must in all our ways acknowledge HIM, the God of our salvation, and know that He will direct our paths. We know that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that the righteous run into and are safe. We know that some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we put our hope, trust and unwavering faith in God. We know that some trust in man and even in mans own limited ability, but we as believers we trust in God!

We know that because we love him, and he is our God, that all things are working together for good. We know that even when we are alone, we are never alone. For God is with us and he promised he would never leave us or forsake us. We know that if God allowed it, there is some good that is going to be revealed in it. So I admonish you to hold on to hope. Don't give up, run on and see what the end is going to be. We don't know but God knows and that alone gives me hope and strength.

May the God of peace bless you and keep you. I pray that the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and you peace!
